UD Guachum's Fricson Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Mauriz in the 14th minute of play. If Jose Becerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fricson Vicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Becerra in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Becerra in the 19th minute of play forced UD Guachum's goalkeeper Fricson Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, UD Guachum's Urbes Verde threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Marines, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Becerra in the 28th minute of play forced UD Guachum's goalkeeper Fricson Vicente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wellington Resto came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the UD Guachum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Resto couldn't finish the play. If Edgar Gasca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Becerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The UD Guachum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UD Tocadel were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Marines to make the kick off. The supporters of UD Guachum booed when UD Tocadel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Ganzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martinez Mauriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fricson Vicente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Becerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fricson Vicente having to interfere. Edgar Gasca's late challenge caught a UD Guachum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Gasca helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Gasca hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Jose Becerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fricson Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Tocadel's Jose Becerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fricson Vicente. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Martinez Mauriz from a close distance when the talented Fricson Vicente managed to make a qualified save. UD Guachum's players were relieved. 81 minutes into the match, UD Guachum's goalkeeper Fricson Vicente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martinez Mauriz. A hard shot 93 in the game by Martinez Mauriz from a close distance when the talented Fricson Vicente managed to make a qualified save. UD Guachum's players were relieved. 94 minutes into the game, Wellington Resto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Urbes Verde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
