José Rafales hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Edgar Herrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodríguez Cedeno in the 24th minute of the match. Fernando Lera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavies Peredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, CD Delia's Edgar Herrada got control of the ball when Rodrigo Tabernilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavies Peredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zamora Barcenilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Lera having to interfere. Edgar Herrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Tabernilla in the 39th minute. If Rodríguez Cedeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Marcelino Zaballos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerecita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Delia the free kick. A collision led to Cerecita getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcelino Zaballos hit a great ball. Xavies Peredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of CD Delia booed when Cerecita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Zaballos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cerecita's zone, Xavies Peredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Lera came out of the goal and Xavies Peredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavies Peredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Xorxe Pont was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Delia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerecita the free kick. After 61 played minutes, Cerecita's José Rafales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Herrada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerecita reached it. In the 63rd minute of the match Reyes Calzado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Herrada skillfully saved the ball. In the 67th minute, Marcelino Zaballos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Grueso Romarote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cerecita's Rodríguez Cedeno in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Delia's goalkeeper Edgar Herrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgar Herrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Tabernilla in the 81st minute of the match. Cerecita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodríguez Cedeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cerecita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
