The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, CD Borbones's Marlon Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xzaiver Raposo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marlon Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Carrandi to make the kick off. Xzaiver Raposo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Carrandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Guarumito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bottero Gaiztarro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Guarumito's zone, Alberto Carrandi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xzaiver Raposo came out of the goal and Alberto Carrandi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodney Torra stood somewhat misplaced when Bagui Ruiloba came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 63 minute. 68 minutes into the match, Guarumito's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Carrandi came free, but Xzaiver Raposo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parisi Constante in the 71st minute of play forced CD Borbones's goalkeeper Rodney Torra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Jorge Trana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarumito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Borbones the free kick. A collision led to Guarumito getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Xzaiver Raposo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marlon Rodriguez went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
