Xefe Subijana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Tocachi's Fleitas Moxi got a free kick in the 10th minute. Denis Garray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sánchez Arintero in the 11th minute of the match. Edgar Obies hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Correa's Mario Cerradelo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 15 minutes of play Tocachi's Edgar Obies was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Morán Esquide came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Correa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morán Esquide couldn't finish the play. Elvis Palazuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvis Palazuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Correa's Elvis Palazuelo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Correa's Xefe Subijana got control of the ball when Valiente Rancaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Valiente Rancaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Correa's Morán Esquide got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Tocachi's goal looked a bit too open when Morán Esquide came free, but Denis Garray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, one of Correa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valiente Rancaño was the one to do the kick off. Valiente Rancaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xefe Subijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valiente Rancaño in the 55th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play Correa's Elvis Palazuelo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th minute, Elvis Palazuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valiente Rancaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Xefe Subijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Correa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aragón Cabeza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Tocachi's Fleitas Moxi got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 68th minute, when Correa's Mario Cerradelo after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Denis Garray in Tocachi's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. With his leg Denis Garray managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Correa's Sánchez Arintero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Geovanni Analla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Correa were awarded a corner. Mario Cerradelo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Correa's Sánchez Arintero to fire away a dangerous shot which Denis Garray despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Correa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
