After 22 minutes of play, CD Villagomez's Justavino Hernani made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Larquera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Larquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Arredondo in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, CD Villagomez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urrutia Cedeno to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Carlos Fontarigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vitin Albar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Lopez Arredondo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidel Larquera. That made the score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Zavior Diego scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitin Albar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monge Folgueral to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lopez Arredondo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Larquera saved CD Peripa from getting behind. Ramos Peñacerrada's late challenge caught a CD Peripa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramos Peñacerrada helped the player get up and apologised. Ramos Peñacerrada kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience cheered when Vennancio Vidanes's long shot passed Vitin Albar's right side. It was 2-3, 63 minutes into the match. Monge Folgueral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Albar having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Peripa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
