Veronica Ibio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Larquera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veronica Ibio's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Uriona in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Larquera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veronica Ibio in the 29th minute of play forced CD Peripa's goalkeeper Fidel Larquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Veronica Ibio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Larquera was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After some careless play in the CD Pomasqui defense, Carlos Fontarigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cortez Jaimes. In the 70th minute Monge Folgueral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Jaimes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fontarigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Jaimes having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Monge Folgueral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game Monge Folgueral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Pomasqui's Cortez Jaimes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ignacio Regulez fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Pomasqui's protests and gave Ignacio Regulez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CD Pomasqui getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ignacio Regulez hit a great ball. Zavior Diego's late challenge caught a CD Pomasqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zavior Diego helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CD Peripa getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zavior Diego hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Peripa had won after a very even match.
