One of Chalcalo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cananvalle FC:s goal. Felix Unceta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Najera in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Carlos-Armando Castañiza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chalcalo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cananvalle FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chalcalo's Carlos-Armando Castañiza got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Castroverde in the 31st minute of play forced Cananvalle FC's goalkeeper Trivniño Burdeos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zumar Igual got free with Trivniño Burdeos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zumar Igual's late challenge caught a Cananvalle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zumar Igual helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Chalcalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zumar Igual to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Guerrero Mier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Trivniño Burdeos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Castroverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Chalcalo's Felix Unceta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Najera in the 46th minute of play. Rodríguez Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zoil Castroverde made the kick off in the second half. Trivniño Burdeos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoil Castroverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cananvalle FC's Trivniño Burdeos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Castroverde in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Guerrero Mier made a precise shot to the right of Trivniño Burdeos. Cananvalle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zoil Castroverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Trivniño Burdeos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trivniño Burdeos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Castroverde in the 70th minute of play. Trivniño Burdeos came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Chalcalo's Guerrero Mier. But to his dismay, Guerrero Mier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardo Najera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Unceta. That made the score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Chalcalo's Guerrero Mier made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trivniño Burdeos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rdth minute of the game Zoil Castroverde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cananvalle FC's Trivniño Burdeos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bernardo Najera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chalcalo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
