Miguel Froiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose-Antonio Almenester having to interfere. Mario Giral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jose-Antonio Almenester made a huge save. If Mario Giral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Rubi in the 95th minute of play forced Guarahuin's goalkeeper Dario Betancur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Calpi SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guarahuin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
