After having played for 13 minutes, Mario Giral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guarahuin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Giral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Froiz in the 14th minute of play forced Elvia's goalkeeper Alessandro Rebolleda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rodas Verda came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Elvia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodas Verda couldn't finish the play. Elvia's Erwin Lagarejos pulled a muscle in his leg after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Massey during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guarahuin! Alessandro Rebolleda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Giral in the 26th minute. Xilo Mendivil kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Xilo Mendivil charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xilo Mendivil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xilo Mendivil hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Elvia's zone, Mario Giral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Rebolleda came out of the goal and Mario Giral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Bernal lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Guarahuin a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xuoco Igay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elvia's Alessandro Rebolleda. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilio Perez made a kick off. Miguel Froiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. If Mario Giral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Froiz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Rebolleda. Alessandro Rebolleda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Mario Giral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guarahuin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
