In the 4th minute Lucas Astonzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerson Quejana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Povia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jerson Quejana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Astonzas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Irubi's Juan Urdapileta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Insua Costas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dominguez Alcaraz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Irubi's Jerson Quejana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Irubi from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominguez Alcaraz in the 22nd minute of play forced Briseno FC's goalkeeper Insua Costas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Povia got free with Jerson Quejana in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reyes Cabaña kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mendoza Mazuelas in the 28th minute of play forced Briseno FC's goalkeeper Insua Costas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Briseno FC's Lucas Astonzas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Povia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Povia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Briseno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Povia couldn't finish the play. Insua Costas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominguez Alcaraz in the 37th minute of play. Lucas Astonzas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerson Quejana having to interfere. Teofilio Añe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Jerson Quejana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Povia in the 54th minute of the match. Briseno FC's Insua Costas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Briseno FC from getting a goal against them. If Carlos Povia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dominguez Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominguez Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Insua Costas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Insua Costas made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Juan Urdapileta sent off a good shot on target. Jose-Antonio Aristegui's late challenge caught a Briseno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose-Antonio Aristegui helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute of the match Lucio Pardeo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerson Quejana skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Briseno FC booed when Irubi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendoza Mazuelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Briseno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominguez Alcaraz came free, but Insua Costas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Lucas Astonzas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Briseno FC and the Irubi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Briseno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Astonzas to maneuver through the defense. Dominguez Alcaraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Insua Costas having to interfere. The Irubi players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Briseno FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
