The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Peruyera kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Boris Bedoya came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Aguapiedra SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Bedoya couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Playas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Xencio Tostado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Venceslas Rienda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Playas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslas Ricoy to maneuver through the defense. Playas's Rodolfo Herce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Ovin in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paredes Arandoja in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venceslas Rienda saved Aguapiedra SC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Xencio Tostado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venceslas Rienda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Playas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. David Tamez hit a great ball. When Antonio Senzano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After 47 played minutes Aguapiedra SC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Senzano.
When Zenaido Bello fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguapiedra SC's protests and gave Zenaido Bello a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Aguapiedra SC got a freekick which was hit by Zenaido Bello. 58 minutes into the game, James Ovin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguapiedra SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playas the free kick. A collision led to Aguapiedra SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. James Ovin hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguapiedra SC's goalkeeper Venceslas Rienda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Paredes Arandoja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venceslas Rienda was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Reynaldo Lumeras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Herce having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paredes Arandoja in the 68th minute of play forced Aguapiedra SC's goalkeeper Venceslas Rienda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zenaido Bello was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. If Paredes Arandoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venceslas Rienda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paredes Arandoja in the 78th minute of play. Paredes Arandoja struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Venceslas Rienda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Playas. After some careless play in the Aguapiedra SC defense, Paredes Arandoja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venceslas Rienda. The Aguapiedra SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venceslas Rienda should have stopped the shot. Playas's Paredes Arandoja got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Aguapiedra SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Ovin to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes, Playas's Zumar Tesillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Venceslas Rienda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Playas reached it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
