Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jairo Deleon made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Hugo Astete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zaquiel Ozollo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the UD Cushuimi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaquiel Ozollo couldn't finish the play. Hugo Astete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Borrero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Panecillo's zone, Zaquiel Ozollo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pico Deleon came out of the goal and Zaquiel Ozollo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If David Guereño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, UD Cushuimi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Olozagoitia to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, UD Cushuimi's Moisés Borrero got control of the ball when David Guereño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaquiel Ozollo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pico Deleon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes, Teofilo Requena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panecillo and the UD Cushuimi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panecillo's Teofilo Requena got a free kick in the 44th minute. Pico Deleon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Ozollo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Panecillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xalvador Peñalba to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, UD Cushuimi's Angulo Madaria tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Astete to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game, Jairo Deleon landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 53 minutes into the game, Mauricio Florian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panecillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Cushuimi the free kick. In the 53rd minute, one of Panecillo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panecillo. Romulo Burbua hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Panecillo's Pico Deleon got control of the ball when Zaquiel Ozollo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Vitin Marti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zaquiel Ozollo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Pico Deleon made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, David Guereño notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of UD Cushuimi's Moisés Borrero. Moisés Borrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angulo Madaria hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in UD Cushuimi's zone, Hugo Astete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Borrero came out of the goal and Hugo Astete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moisés Borrero came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Panecillo's Hugo Astete. But to his dismay, Hugo Astete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Panecillo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
