Nacho Albear recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Alebio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Iza Baldaliso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Malacatus SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guacinga:s goal. David Coco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Rolando Varandalla came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Guacinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Varandalla couldn't finish the play. Xilo Berrio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Pedro Armentia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nacho Albear fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Guaras having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Rolando Varandalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Malacatus SC's Unai Guaras. Unai Guaras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unai Guaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Albear in the 27th minute of the match. Guacinga's Pedro Armentia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Baldaliso in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Xantalen Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guacinga and the Malacatus SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xantalen Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Iza Baldaliso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Armentia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Malacatus SC's zone, Rolando Varandalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Unai Guaras came out of the goal and Rolando Varandalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guacinga's Nacho Albear got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iza Baldaliso made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Malacatus SC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Angles. Malacatus SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Rolando Varandalla scored to the left of an out of position Unai Guaras, making the score, 0-2. In the 64th minute, Iza Baldaliso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malacatus SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Malacatus SC's Unai Guaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Coco in the 69th minute of play. Nacho Albear could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Unai Guaras made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Xilo Berrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Armentia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guacinga getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Xantalen Sousa hit a great ball. Xilo Berrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pedro Armentia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nacho Albear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 minutes of play Guacinga's Xantalen Sousa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd match minute, Guacinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xantalen Sousa to maneuver through the defense. When Rolando Varandalla fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guacinga's protests and gave Rolando Varandalla a yellow card for diving instead. Nacho Albear sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victorio Negroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xilo Berrio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pedro Armentia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malacatus SC. In the 93rd minute Xilo Berrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Armentia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iza Baldaliso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xilo Berrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guacinga eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
