Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Vilella got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ysmael Zarandona got free with Gomez Espinoso in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ysmael Zarandona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Espinoso having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Paulo Vilella took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gomez Espinoso to make any attempt to save it. When Daniel Cano fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Avila's protests and gave Daniel Cano a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Cano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gomez Espinoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Vilella in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Arenal in the 40th minute of play forced UD Avila's goalkeeper Cumbicus Egas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Malacatus's Gomez Espinoso got control of the ball when Ysmael Zarandona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Vilella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Espinoso having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ysmael Zarandona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gomez Espinoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José-Manuel Albear was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Miguel Arenal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malacatus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Arenal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to UD Avila getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Yaniusky Abril hit a great ball. Miguel Arenal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cumbicus Egas made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Malacatus got a freekick which was hit by Rios Borinaga. 65 minutes into the game, Paulo Vilella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gomez Espinoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio Sotelo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Sotelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Malacatus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Sotelo to maneuver through the defense. When Miguel Arenal came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Malacatus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Arenal couldn't finish the play. Cumbicus Egas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José-Manuel Albear in the 74th minute of play. Urbes Janez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When UD Avila's Ysmael Zarandona in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malacatus's goalie prevented a goal. Miguel Arenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Ysmael Zarandona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Avila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ysmael Zarandona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. After some careless play in the UD Avila defense, Miguel Arenal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cumbicus Egas. The UD Avila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cumbicus Egas should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UD Avila fully deserved thier win.
