After a rather tough play, Sacapiamba's Vellito Balanzuela got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Uriel Badia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo-Enrique Becerra in the 4th minute. Flavio Aeta's late challenge caught a Changaimina SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Aeta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Sacapiamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Aeta to maneuver through the defense. Xever Fuerte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Badia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xever Fuerte in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Badia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Leon Iturcha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacapiamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Changaimina SC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Sacapiamba got a freekick which was hit by Leon Iturcha. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vellito Balanzuela during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uriel Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Becerra in the 57th minute of play. Inocencio Cartagena kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Anangonó Escandàn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Zaton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Changaimina SC's John Zaton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Changaimina SC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Changaimina SC's goal looked a bit too open when Espiga Urturi came free, but John Zaton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espiga Urturi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. John Zaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espiga Urturi had several of the Changaimina SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed John Zaton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Flavio Aeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Badia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaviedes Barga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo-Enrique Becerra in the 87th minute of play forced Sacapiamba's goalkeeper Uriel Badia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Xever Fuerte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Badia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Cemborain in the 96th minute of play.
