A collision led to Sacapiamba getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Roberto Cotrofe hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Primavera FC's Telmo Inestrosa got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Anangonó Escandàn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Brancovi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anangonó Escandàn in the 10th minute of the match. If Anangonó Escandàn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Brancovi came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacapiamba's Espiga Urturi. But to his dismay, Espiga Urturi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Inocencio Cartagena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Brancovi. Primavera FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Brancovi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anangonó Escandàn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacapiamba's Uriel Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Uja in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sacapiamba's Flavio Aeta got a free kick in the 31st minute. Patricio Zotes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Uriel Badia made a huge save. Uriel Badia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Uja, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Anangonó Escandàn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Brancovi having to interfere. If Anangonó Escandàn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Primavera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anangonó Escandàn came free, but Daniel Brancovi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Sacapiamba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amador Sarabia hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Primavera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Espiga Urturi came free, but Daniel Brancovi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Zotes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Uriel Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Anangonó Escandàn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sacapiamba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
