Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CD Zueylan's León Chaniz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, CD Zueylan's Victorio Buenaga got control of the ball when Pablo-Enrique Becerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Changaimina SC's Xever Fuerte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Buenaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Xever Fuerte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Zueylan's Victorio Buenaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Xever Fuerte put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Victorio Buenaga. Victorio Buenaga made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Pablo-Enrique Becerra sent off a good shot on target. Méndez Concha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Zaton having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, León Chaniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Zueylan's supporters rose to their feet, but León Chaniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Zaton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Méndez Concha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Méndez Concha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Zaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, CD Zueylan's Méndez Concha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Zaton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The corner led Changaimina SC's Teo Crisol to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorio Buenaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xever Fuerte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Buenaga having to interfere. When Méndez Concha came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the CD Zueylan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Méndez Concha couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers León Chaniz in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Zaton saved Changaimina SC from getting behind. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Changaimina SC's goalkeeper John Zaton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 70 in the game by Méndez Concha from a close distance when the talented John Zaton managed to make a qualified save. Changaimina SC's players were relieved. León Chaniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. John Zaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Changaimina SC's goal looked a bit too open when León Chaniz came free, but John Zaton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jacinto Cemborain fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Changaimina SC's protests and gave Jacinto Cemborain a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Changaimina SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jacinto Cemborain hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Zuberoa Armero managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Zueylan's supporters rose to their feet, but Zuberoa Armero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Zaton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo-Enrique Becerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Victorio Buenaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Changaimina SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xever Fuerte to maneuver through the defense. CD Zueylan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
