The referee ignored Saiba FC's protests and gave Matias Alamon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quinonez booed when Saiba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Alamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Saiba FC's Teofilo Deaguero got control of the ball when Ur Bañuelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Americo Huerta struck a weak shot in the 99th minute.
