A collision led to UD Shalapa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Raimundo Miralles hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Sibila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Lasa. Maximiliano Sibila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ricardo Rois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Lasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Sibila, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Xines Goztros charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xines Goztros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes UD Shalapa got a freekick which was hit by Xines Goztros. CD Natabuela's Emilio Lasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save CD Natabuela from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Sibila made the kick off in the second half. Emilio Lasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Sibila in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Natabuela's zone, Maximiliano Sibila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Lasa came out of the goal and Maximiliano Sibila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urritz Jalon charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urritz Jalon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes CD Natabuela got a freekick which was hit by Urritz Jalon. UD Shalapa's Lucio Arvelo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Natabuela. In the 70th match minute, UD Shalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xurxo Heredia to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes CD Natabuela got a freekick which was hit by Aguinaga Azua. Emilio Lasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Rois in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ricardo Rois managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Shalapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Rois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Lasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Sibila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Lasa having to interfere. Xines Goztros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Emilio Lasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Shalapa fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Natabuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
