Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emilio Cañete kicked off to start the match. CD Esmeraldita were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Toachi SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nando Zabarte took the corner. CD Esmeraldita's Nando Zabarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juan-Angel Palomino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan-Angel Palomino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Cañete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venceslas Caldero came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Toachi SC's Zadornin Alejandro. But to his dismay, Zadornin Alejandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Emilio Cañete came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the CD Esmeraldita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cañete couldn't finish the play. Diego Mariña struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Juan-Angel Palomino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Esmeraldita. CD Esmeraldita's Diego Mariña got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan-Angel Palomino made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Diego Mariña sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Mariano Morquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Toachi SC's zone, Diego Mariña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Angel Palomino came out of the goal and Diego Mariña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venceslas Caldero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zadornin Alejandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Jairón Estany got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urtungo Beloso struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Venceslas Caldero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toachi SC.

53 minutes into the match, CD Esmeraldita's goal looked a bit too open when Jairón Estany came free, but Venceslas Caldero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Mariña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan-Angel Palomino having to make a save. After 68 minutes, Jairón Estany mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toachi SC and the CD Esmeraldita players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Emilio Cañete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Cañete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Juan-Angel Palomino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Toachi SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Xuan Chanza hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Diego Mariña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Cañete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Angel Palomino having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Jairón Estany got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. CD Esmeraldita's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jairón Estany 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Venceslas Caldero made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Zadornin Alejandro sent off a good shot on target. Diego Mariña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Juan-Angel Palomino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairón Estany recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
