The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Esterilla Peroria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Esterilla Peroria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Bada having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Fernández Lueje ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Bada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Arboleda Castelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urtungo Villaescusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Lomba having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Arboleda Castelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington Lomba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urtungo Villaescusa made a kick off. Wellington Lomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Villaescusa in the 56th minute of the match. If Urtungo Villaescusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fernández Lueje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pilco SC's Augusto Bada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esterilla Peroria in the 78th minute of play. Ruben Tobia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Pilco SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José-Manuel Mancina to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernández Lueje in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Bada saved Pilco SC from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
