Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Olar took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to CD Gurgur getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Leonides Paz hit a great ball. Johnny Hondon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Cantillo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Maximo Isazi came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Zamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Isazi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Zamba getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pancho Marco hit a great ball. Francisco Pereña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Olar in the 14th minute of play. Johnny Hondon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Maximo Isazi sent off a good shot on target. Estevez Casanoves charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estevez Casanoves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zamba's Estevez Casanoves got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Zamba's goal looked a bit too open when Poroso Salterain came free, but Francisco Pereña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Pereña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poroso Salterain in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Isazi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnny Hondon saved CD Gurgur from getting behind. Zamba's Francisco Pereña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Olar in the 31st minute of play. Poroso Salterain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Pereña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Maximo Isazi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Hondon having to make a save. Johnny Hondon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Isazi in the 42nd minute. Francisco Pereña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Olar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Dennis Cantillo made the kick off in the second half. Estevez Casanoves struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Johnny Hondon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamba. Johnny Hondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Cantillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes CD Gurgur got a freekick which was hit by Urtungo Dios. After having played for 78 minutes, Estevez Casanoves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estevez Casanoves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes CD Gurgur got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Paz. In the 89th minute, one of CD Gurgur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Gurgur. The referee gave Zamba a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pancho Marco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CD Gurgur's Johnny Hondon. 2-0. After 94 played minutes Zamba got a freekick which was hit by Estevez Casanoves. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Jorge Sande put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zamba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, CD Gurgur's Urtungo Dios got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Francisco Pereña. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zamba fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Gurgur had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
