Xavion Martino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morán Escudero's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Quingeo's Lara Candamo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes, Quingeo's Elkin Uriona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xavion Martino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quingeo reached it. After a rather tough play, Shirimpin's Lucio Bulnes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vasco Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Soria in the 23rd minute of play forced Quingeo's goalkeeper Zayvion Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lara Candamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Xavion Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Quingeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elkin Uriona to maneuver through the defense. Shirimpin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Insua Tovilleja in the 38th minute. A nice corner shot did that Insua Tovilleja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zayvion Colon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vasco Bermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zayvion Colon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasco Bermudo ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Soria to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Vasco Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shirimpin's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zayvion Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Quingeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Lape to maneuver through the defense. When Shirimpin's Jonathan Soria in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quingeo's goalie prevented a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lara Candamo couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Shirimpin got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Bulnes. 71 minutes into the match, Shirimpin's goal looked a bit too open when Morán Escudero came free, but Xavion Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quingeo's zone, Vasco Bermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zayvion Colon came out of the goal and Vasco Bermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Lara Candamo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Shirimpin's Xavion Martino. Xavion Martino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quingeo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Shirimpin a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Insua Tovilleja, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quingeo's Zayvion Colon. 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
