UD Wawaim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guangalo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, UD Wawaim's Ysmael Guarnizo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Darío Rosabel scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Rebollo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute of the match Gian-Carlo Junco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Udobro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Francisco Villagra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Wawaim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 18th match minute, Guangalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iachetti Urive to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, UD Wawaim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrido Lozada to maneuver through the defense. Paredes Iturbide took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Rebollo. UD Wawaim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Villagra's late challenge caught a Guangalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Villagra helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Villagra hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. UD Wawaim's Ubaldo Rebollo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Rosabel in the 27th minute of play. Francisco Villagra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Iachetti Urive came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Guangalo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iachetti Urive couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Armando Beyso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Rebollo. UD Wawaim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Beyso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ubaldo Rebollo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Rosabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Villagra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Emanuel Udobro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José-Manuel Pelegri hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. UD Wawaim's Ubaldo Rebollo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Beyso in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Darío Rosabel made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Udobro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Villagra's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ysmael Guarnizo was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. José-Manuel Pelegri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Paredes Iturbide took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Rebollo. UD Wawaim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th minute Francisco Villagra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Udobro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darío Rosabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Villagra took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Udobro. Emanuel Udobro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Armando Beyso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, Guangalo FC's Armando Beyso made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Rebollo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, UD Wawaim's goalkeeper Ubaldo Rebollo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Beyso. Francisco Villagra might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Udobro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Villagra ran back to his position shaking his head. José-Manuel Pelegri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Udobro having to interfere. The UD Wawaim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guangalo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guangalo FC.
