Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santo Gonzalez kicked off to start the match. Narciso Sedan's late challenge caught a Chontapunta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Sedan helped the player get up and apologised. Xines Langarica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, UD Tsuntsuin's Renán Ciaño got a free kick in the 10th minute. When Santo Gonzalez got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Xinto Larramendi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Antonio Darripe made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Rosario Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. Rosario Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Antonio Darripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Sequeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Darripe having to interfere. When Chontapunta's Wilmer Ponte in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Tsuntsuin's goalie prevented a goal. Xinto Larramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Langarica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Santo Gonzalez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xinto Larramendi. Chontapunta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Gonzalez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 44th minute, Wilmer Ponte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the UD Tsuntsuin defense, Rosario Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Darripe. The UD Tsuntsuin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Darripe should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilmer Ponte made a kick off. Renán Ciaño charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renán Ciaño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chontapunta booed when UD Tsuntsuin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renán Ciaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosario Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Antonio Darripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chontapunta getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Santiago Adames hit a great ball. Wilmer Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Darripe having to interfere. If Rosario Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Xines Langarica notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chontapunta's Xinto Larramendi. Xinto Larramendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Santo Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Tsuntsuin's protests and gave Santo Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, UD Tsuntsuin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Darripe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Bernaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Darripe having to make a save. After 87 played minutes UD Tsuntsuin got a freekick which was hit by Armando Imaz. When Xines Langarica came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the UD Tsuntsuin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xines Langarica couldn't finish the play. The UD Tsuntsuin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
