Antonio Darripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, UD Tsuntsuin's goal looked a bit too open when Urbes Serbia came free, but Antonio Darripe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Santo Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Tsuntsuin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Xines Langarica managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Tsuntsuin's supporters rose to their feet, but Xines Langarica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Rebollo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to UD Tsuntsuin getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Timoteo Señor hit a great ball. UD Tsuntsuin's Antonio Darripe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Villagra in the 25th minute of play. Antonio Darripe went to the wrong direction when Paco Iturriaga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 45th minute, Zamora Basagoitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Antonio Darripe made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Francisco Villagra sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Darripe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbes Serbia in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Santo Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ubaldo Rebollo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, UD Tsuntsuin's Armando Imaz got a free kick in the 59th minute. Francisco Villagra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Rebollo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Langarica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xines Langarica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Rebollo having to interfere. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. UD Tsuntsuin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
