Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Urbasa Cebollero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Abad having to interfere. With his leg Camilo Abad managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Quitanga's Zelipe Falco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jesus Cadrecha kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Teodoro Urreta, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 16 minutes, Oscar Toyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitanga and the Ahuano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Quitanga getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oscar Toyo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Teodoro Urreta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Texeira Guardamiño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Valerio Peciña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Texeira Guardamiño was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Urbasa Cebollero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Abad having to interfere. Zelipe Falco kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 26thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ahuano FC's keeper Camilo Abad was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Vernaza Trasgallo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ahuano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vernaza Trasgallo couldn't finish the play. Texeira Guardamiño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valerio Peciña went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Urbasa Cebollero came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Quitanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbasa Cebollero couldn't finish the play. Camilo Abad made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Zelipe Falco sent off a good shot on target. Valerio Peciña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vernaza Trasgallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Texeira Guardamiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Urbasa Cebollero made the kick off in the second half. Quitanga's Texeira Guardamiño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Peciña in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbasa Cebollero during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Texeira Guardamiño managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ahuano FC's Vernaza Trasgallo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerio Peciña in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Texeira Guardamiño saved Quitanga from getting behind. In the 66th minute Valerio Peciña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Texeira Guardamiño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valerio Peciña received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Texeira Guardamiño came out and tried to block the shot, but Valerio Peciña slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. Oscar Toyo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Zelipe Falco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Abad having to interfere. Valerio Peciña was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zelipe Falco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Quitanga's goal looked a bit too open when Valerio Peciña came free, but Texeira Guardamiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ahuano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
