In the 7th minute, Ubaldo Olloque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Robin Loro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Marquesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Loro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xepe Escola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montalvo Esparza took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nunez Viguera. Nunez Viguera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, CD Marquesa's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Olloque came free, but Nunez Viguera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ubaldo Olloque managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Nayumbimi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Olloque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Viguera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes CD Nayumbimi got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Feliz. In the 36th match minute, CD Nayumbimi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yago Belber to maneuver through the defense. Oso Tovilleja kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, CD Nayumbimi's Darío Traspalacios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Viguera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Nunez Viguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Olloque, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 75th match minute, CD Marquesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by López Arin to maneuver through the defense. Xepe Escola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Loro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montalvo Esparza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Viguera having to interfere. With a little luck, CD Marquesa's Nunez Viguera got control of the ball when Montalvo Esparza tried to sneak it across the goal line. The CD Nayumbimi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Nayumbimi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
