After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Brito Leys managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Tuyuntsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Brito Leys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tercero Arnuero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vasco Pantojas came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pititic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Pantojas couldn't finish the play. Vasco Pantojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Pititic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Lozares to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Xarles Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Parada during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Facundo Parada kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Lucas Mar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Brito Leys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pititic's Tercero Arnuero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tercero Arnuero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Maoño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tercero Arnuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brito Leys in the 43rd minute of play. Ataulfo Trimiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Pantojas in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Ataulfo Trimiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Pesquera in the 53rd minute of the match. Vasco Pantojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ataulfo Trimiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Pesquera in the 56th minute of play forced CD Tuyuntsa's goalkeeper Ataulfo Trimiño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Pantojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brito Leys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, CD Tuyuntsa's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Pantojas came free, but Ataulfo Trimiño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes, Pititic's Agustín Marino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ataulfo Trimiño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pititic reached it. A collision led to CD Tuyuntsa getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Patricio Camara hit a great ball. Brito Leys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tercero Arnuero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Pantojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pititic's Hector Torron suffered a fractured collar bone after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 78 minutes into the game, Hernan Bolivar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Tuyuntsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pititic the free kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Eduardo Pesquera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pititic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Pesquera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, CD Tuyuntsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Bolivar to maneuver through the defense. Facundo Parada struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ataulfo Trimiño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pititic. Ataulfo Trimiño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Pesquera in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pititic's Braulio Lozares got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pititic's zone, Jaime Maoño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tercero Arnuero came out of the goal and Jaime Maoño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Brito Leys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Tuyuntsa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
