Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 8 played minutes, Gualzaqui's Xines Olea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Cañucal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gualzaqui reached it. In the 9th minute, Zabal Tresgallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pablo Cañucal. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Gualzaqui getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Klimowicz Ferrer hit a great ball. Macias Lloret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Denis Veraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macias Lloret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Veraza having to interfere. Víctor Gualda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pablo Cañucal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match Zuri Liebana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Cañucal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Macias Lloret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ortencia's Corozo Naveda suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. Augusto Gondian hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Zabal Tresgallo made the kick off in the second half. Pablo Cañucal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabal Tresgallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Víctor Gualda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gualzaqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víctor Gualda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan-Pablo Aveo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Veraza having to interfere. Leonel Eleizalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Denis Veraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ortencia booed when Gualzaqui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klimowicz Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Juan-Pablo Aveo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Veraza. Gualzaqui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Pablo Aveo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víctor Gualda in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Cañucal saved Ortencia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ortencia's Xacintu Gualda got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Xacintu Gualda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ortencia's Juan-Pablo Aveo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Veraza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan-Pablo Aveo in the 86th minute. A collision led to Gualzaqui getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Víctor Gualda hit a great ball. Juan-Pablo Aveos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Denis Veraza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Gualzaqui booed when Ortencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Huertas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Víctor Gualda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Cañucal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Gualzaqui's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
