The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, UD Yarizanita's goal looked a bit too open when Xinaro Riopedre came free, but Xuoco Hermida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, UD Yarizanita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Pablo to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Zenaido Igarza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hurtado Lerma skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xinaro Riopedre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evelio Noreña hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Sergio Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Neicer Galguera fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iberia's protests and gave Neicer Galguera a yellow card for diving instead. Lastra Gamez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xuoco Hermida having to make a save. Lastra Gamez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Milla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hurtado Lerma having to interfere. UD Yarizanita's Xuoco Hermida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinaro Riopedre in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Yarizanita's goalkeeper Xuoco Hermida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, UD Yarizanita's Hugo Milla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hurtado Lerma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iberia's Hurtado Lerma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Iberia from getting a goal against them. When Neicer Galguera came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Iberia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neicer Galguera couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Xinaro Riopedre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
