Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yiyo Secilia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The goalkeeper, Norberto Selgas, was totally fooled by Novilla FC's Xose Hormilla, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yiyo Secilia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Norberto Selgas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Gao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Moreno's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Urrutia Ortuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Novilla FC's Narciso Gao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Moreno in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Novilla FC's zone, Jacinto Lassa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Gao came out of the goal and Jacinto Lassa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Urrutia Ortuño made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Selgas. UD Lamedero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Yiyo Secilia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Selgas was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Valery Falconi's late challenge caught a Novilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valery Falconi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, UD Lamedero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valery Falconi to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes, Xose Hormilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Novilla FC and the UD Lamedero players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Urrutia Ortuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urrutia Ortuño got free with Norberto Selgas in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Moreno to make the kick off. Yiyo Secilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Selgas having to interfere. In the 59th minute Yiyo Secilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Selgas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacinto Lassa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Narciso Gao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jacinto Lassa came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the UD Lamedero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lassa couldn't finish the play. Norberto Selgas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urrutia Ortuño, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Urrutia Ortuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Gao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Moreno in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Barreira during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Novilla FC's Michael Barreira got a free kick in the 77th minute. Virgilio Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Narciso Gao made a huge save. After 80 played minutes UD Lamedero got a freekick which was hit by Morales Cardeña. 82 minutes into the match, Yiyo Secilia notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of UD Lamedero's Norberto Selgas. Norberto Selgas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. UD Lamedero's Virgilio Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Novilla FC's Narciso Gao got control of the ball when Virgilio Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. UD Lamedero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
