With a little luck, Zhambran's Jaime Sorzano got control of the ball when Campos Llanderas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Zhambran's goalkeeper Jaime Sorzano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Campos Llanderas. Zhambran's Sergio Ayensa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neicer Ruesga got free with Jaime Sorzano in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Campos Llanderas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Neicer Ruesga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When García Urrea came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zhambran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that García Urrea couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Ayensa made a kick off. Fernando Asenjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Ayensa in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when García Urrea got free with Fernando Asenjo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neicer Ruesga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Sorzano having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Sergio Ayensa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fernando Asenjo, passed just outside the right post. García Urrea struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fernando Asenjo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zhambran.
