Xulian Cero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cuero Hernan's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Gregorio Pesquera hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Pucashpa's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandez Sagrario came free, but Xulian Cero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Carlos-Alberto Sanles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Areta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pucashpa's Xulian Cero got control of the ball when Cuero Hernan tried to sneak it across the goal line. UD Villacres's Cuero Hernan got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cuero Hernan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Pucashpa got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Salina. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Estrada Reve advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 88th minute. Marcelino Cue took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Areta. Jacobo Areta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
