The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Omar Canzino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Nashicta and the UD Villacres players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD Nashicta's Omar Canzino got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fernandez Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Quer having to interfere. Fernandez Sagrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Victor Quer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Alcalde during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, CD Nashicta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Alcalde to maneuver through the defense. Javier Vandoma's late challenge caught a UD Villacres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Vandoma helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in CD Nashicta's zone, Cuero Hernan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Quer came out of the goal and Cuero Hernan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, CD Nashicta's Celso Huberto got a free kick in the 21st minute. UD Villacres's León Zuñiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Nashicta. If Asensio Cervantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asensio Cervantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Areta having to interfere. Victor Quer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Sagrario in the 37th minute of the match. Cuero Hernan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Zuriko Valdueza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Quer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuero Hernan succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Victor Quer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuero Hernan in the 49th minute of play. The CD Nashicta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UD Villacres were winning 0-1.

Asensio Cervantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Areta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asensio Cervantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asensio Cervantes in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Areta saved UD Villacres from getting behind. With an all-out effort, UD Villacres's Victor Quer threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernandez Sagrario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 69 played minutes UD Villacres got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Villalpando. When Alfonso Lapenya came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CD Nashicta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Lapenya couldn't finish the play. If Asensio Cervantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gregorio Pesquera managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Villacres's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Pesquera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Quer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the game, León Gandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Villacres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Nashicta the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of UD Villacres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Nashicta:s goal. The referee gave CD Nashicta a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ledesma Pernia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD Villacres's Jacobo Areta. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asensio Cervantes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Areta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Quer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Sagrario in the 93rd minute of the match. If Alfonso Lapenya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asensio Cervantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
