In the 26th minute, Santos Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 played minutes Javita FC got a freekick which was hit by Zoil Zuya. When Dario Tio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Javita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Tio couldn't finish the play. Zuhaitz Valino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zuhaitz Valino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Baptiste having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Bueno got free with Krikorian Cothal in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Zelipe Somellera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Patatena and the Javita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes UD Patatena got a freekick which was hit by Zelipe Somellera. Zuhaitz Valino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Patatena's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
