The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Andoas's Ovando Miñano got control of the ball when Norberto Cerbera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Alicea in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovando Miñano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saritama Portillo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Andoas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Saritama Portillo hit a great ball. Diego Temiño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilmer Molleda in the 14th minute of the match. If Wilmer Molleda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Wilmer Molleda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Temiño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Cerbera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovando Miñano having to interfere. Ovando Miñano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Alicea in the 24th minute of play. Andoas were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Jaboncillo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Andrade took the corner. Felix Andrade made a great header on Andoas's corner, it was just that Jaboncillo's Diego Temiño managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Andoas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gregorio Finez hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Klimowitz Barma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Klimowitz Barma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Temiño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Alicea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Norberto Cerbera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilmer Molleda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Diego Temiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Temiño was a little too slow when Wilmer Molleda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Klimowitz Barma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Diego Temiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andoas's Wilmer Molleda got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Jaboncillo's Diego Temiño got control of the ball when Klimowitz Barma tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Klimowitz Barma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Alicea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ovando Miñano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilmer Molleda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Temiño having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Andoas's Klimowitz Barma made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Temiño was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Andoas getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jacinto Carballo hit a great ball. Diego Temiño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilmer Molleda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Humberto Alicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Norberto Cerbera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaboncillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Cerbera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Jaboncillo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Andoas's performance. The match ended with a win for Andoas.
