Espinola Rubiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Zuloaga having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urtsua Soriano got free with Fabricio Rubio in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Espinola Rubiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Zuloaga having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Leyte during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Herias in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Zuloaga acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from José-Manuel Serdio. Espinola Rubiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Santos Herias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Rubio. Chimburlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Herias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 84th minute of the match, Espinola Rubiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Zuloaga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Romeo Zuloaga made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Espinola Rubiano sent off a good shot on target. If Urtsua Soriano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
