The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Villandiego kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernando Mulas. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. If Martin Agüera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernando Mulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Villandiego in the 29th minute of the match. Fernando Biñayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Umbruso Charlo to make the kick off. The supporters of Pichil SC booed when Jubones SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodríguez Pego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Fernando Biñayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernando Mulas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Villandiego in the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Pichil SC's Fernando Biñayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Saa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A collision led to Jubones SC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pedro Lete hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pichil SC's Xosepe Villalpando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 95th minute, Umbruso Charlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Jubones SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pichil SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
