Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubarna Azpilcueta in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Campderros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 4 played minutes Jima got a freekick which was hit by Xinto Ibar. Borja Sama could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Mauro Campderros made a huge save. Ricart Saena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leo Caruezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Faical was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iván Cothal to maneuver through the defense. Leo Caruezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Granela in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Jima's goalkeeper Mauro Campderros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borja Sama. Aguirre Menchaca hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jima's zone, Borja Sama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Campderros came out of the goal and Borja Sama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Campderros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borja Sama in the 29th minute. Jima's Mauro Campderros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Azpilcueta in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Ricart Saena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ricart Saena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Stacio Andonaegui got free with Leo Caruezo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Bran Romillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Campderros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Azpilcueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Americo Palmero hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Stacio Andonaegui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Leo Caruezo made a huge save. When Ricart Saena came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Jima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricart Saena couldn't finish the play. If Stacio Andonaegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Jima got a freekick which was hit by Americo Palmero. 81 minutes into the match, Jima's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Azpilcueta came free, but Mauro Campderros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Campderros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Azpilcueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borja Sama in the 85th minute of play forced Jima's goalkeeper Mauro Campderros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Campderros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Azpilcueta in the 86th minute of play.
