In the 15th minute Jacinto Arsuaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Escorcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Tyrone Liviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceiba SC's Johnny Arriano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ceiba SC from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Ceiba SC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Obiaga. Tyrone Liviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Escorcia having to interfere. The supporters of Ceiba SC booed when UD Chanin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendoza Doles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Arsuaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lucio Escorcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
