An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Pablo Temporal in the 5th minute of play forced CD Guayan's goalkeeper Vergaray Somavilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Rengifo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Campos Cabero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan-Pablo Temporal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vergaray Somavilla having to make a save. With a little luck, CD Guayan's Vergaray Somavilla got control of the ball when Cagua Collazos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vergaray Somavilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cagua Collazos in the 13th minute. Cagua Collazos might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vergaray Somavilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cagua Collazos ran back to his position shaking his head. CD Talmira's Pedro Rengifo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Campos Cabero in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Vergaray Somavilla managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when CD Talmira's Cagua Collazos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Campos Cabero in the 34th minute of play forced CD Talmira's goalkeeper Pedro Rengifo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Pablo Temporal in the 36th minute of play forced CD Guayan's goalkeeper Vergaray Somavilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Bertiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Rengifo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Campos Cabero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zxavian Reboredo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan-Pablo Temporal to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan-Pablo Temporal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergaray Somavilla having to interfere. When Campos Cabero came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the CD Guayan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Campos Cabero couldn't finish the play. Campos Cabero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Rengifo came out and tried to block the shot, but Campos Cabero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute, Cagua Collazos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Talmira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vergaray Somavilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Pablo Temporal in the 91st minute of play. If Cagua Collazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
