A hard shot by Venceslas Mier from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Pedro Rengifo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cagua Collazos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palacios Moraina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Marcelo Buisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Marcelo Buisan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Palacios Moraina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Pablo Temporal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of CD Talmira booed when CD Loropico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Bedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Cagua Collazos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Palacios Moraina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelo Buisan might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Rengifo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Buisan ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan-Pablo Temporal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palacios Moraina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cagua Collazos's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Alvarez Menendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Loropico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Talmira the free kick. A collision led to CD Loropico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alvarez Menendez hit a great ball. After 43 minutes CD Loropico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urtsua Sovera who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on CD Talmira's corner Urtsua Sovera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Palacios Moraina quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Talmira's Stacio Mangual got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Juan-Pablo Temporal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Buisan to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Rengifo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Buisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cagua Collazos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Palacios Moraina made a huge save. Javier Landazuri hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tercero Cisquella succeeded in the game's 58th minute to get real power on a long shot . CD Talmira's Pedro Rengifo hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! In the 66thth minute of the game Marcelo Buisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Talmira's Pedro Rengifo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Buisan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Rengifo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Loropico. Pedro Rengifo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavion Velis in the 70th minute of play. Javier Landazuri's late challenge caught a CD Loropico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Landazuri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CD Loropico booed when CD Talmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Landazuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan-Pablo Temporal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CD Talmira's Juan-Pablo Temporal fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Juan-Pablo Temporal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 79th minute of the match Alvarez Menendez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alvarez Menendez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th minute, Alvarez Menendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Pablo Temporal in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Palacios Moraina saved CD Loropico from getting behind. In the 86th match minute, CD Talmira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Landazuri to maneuver through the defense. Xavion Velis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Rengifo having to interfere. Pedro Rengifo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavion Velis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Loropico's goalkeeper Palacios Moraina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Rengifo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavion Velis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CD Talmira getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Xiao Lamboy hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, CD Talmira's goal looked a bit too open when Xavion Velis came free, but Pedro Rengifo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Loropico had won after a very even match.
