The CD Loropico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Campos Cabero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palacios Moraina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Campos Cabero in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Palacios Moraina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vergaray Somavilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavion Velis in the 17th minute of play. When Campos Cabero came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the CD Guayan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Campos Cabero couldn't finish the play. After the first half CD Loropico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Campos Cabero to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CD Loropico's Lucas Cariton got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minda Balli in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Palacios Moraina saved CD Loropico from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of CD Guayan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Loropico:s goal. When Minda Balli came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CD Guayan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minda Balli couldn't finish the play. Campos Cabero took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Palacios Moraina. Palacios Moraina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. CD Loropico's Palacios Moraina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Campos Cabero in the 80th minute of play. Xencio Laguardia's late challenge caught a CD Loropico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xencio Laguardia helped the player get up and apologised. Xencio Laguardia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, CD Guayan's goalkeeper Vergaray Somavilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavion Velis. Palacios Moraina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Campos Cabero, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, CD Guayan's Campos Cabero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Palacios Moraina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, CD Guayan's Marco Pinedo got a free kick in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
