Caicedo Arganzua was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Perrusabel SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 32 minutes into the game, Edgardo Cosio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Perrusabel SC the free kick. The supporters of Perrusabel SC booed when Chacata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Cosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Vidal Sereno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Eduardo Pernia to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Cao kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Klimowitz Sobarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rixon Morata in the 42nd minute of play. Chalá Launda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klimowitz Sobarzo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Edgardo Cosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obregón Tros, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Vidal Sereno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Eduardo Pernia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caicedo Arganzua's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If René Penilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Pernia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Sereno in the 74th minute of play. Caicedo Arganzua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidal Sereno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Pernia having to interfere. Eduardo Pernia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidal Sereno, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rixon Morata got free with Klimowitz Sobarzo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Pernia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Sereno in the 95th minute of play.
