In the 3rd minute Tyrone Cladera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysidro Matamoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrone Cladera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysidro Matamoro having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Chico Betancourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huasipamba SC's Ysidro Matamoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysidro Matamoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Arenchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Arri having to interfere. Mariano Conti kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ysidro Matamoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Victoria in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Alvaro Arenchen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 30th match minute, Huasipamba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xayvion Frera to maneuver through the defense. Ysidro Matamoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Betancourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysidro Matamoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Cladera in the 42nd minute of play. Franco Arri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xayvion Frera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play. The Huasipamba SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cancay FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico Betancourt made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Arenchen in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Arri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chico Betancourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ysidro Matamoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysidro Matamoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Betancourt in the 61st minute of play. Alvaro Arenchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Arri having to interfere. Franco Arri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rios Malta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The Huasipamba SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The Cancay FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
