Huasipamba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Cerezal the free kick. A collision led to Huasipamba SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Xayvion Frera hit a great ball. Santiago Echavarria charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Echavarria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, UD Cerezal's Santiago Echavarria got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Luciano Helica came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the UD Cerezal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Helica couldn't finish the play. Santiago Echavarria struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ysidro Matamoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cerezal. If Rios Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rios Malta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Rebolledo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Huasipamba SC's Rios Malta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandez Rebolledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in UD Cerezal's zone, Alvaro Arenchen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Rebolledo came out of the goal and Alvaro Arenchen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ysidro Matamoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Helica in the 41st minute of the match. Rios Malta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Arenchen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urko Armida hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Campos Tros managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cerezal's supporters rose to their feet, but Campos Tros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysidro Matamoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Arenchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Helica's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ysidro Matamoro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alvaro Arenchen scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandez Rebolledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rios Malta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandez Rebolledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Arenchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rios Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, UD Cerezal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Nabarro to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Alvaro Arenchen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandez Rebolledo. UD Cerezal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Arenchen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ysidro Matamoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Echavarria in the 89th minute of the match. Luciano Helica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysidro Matamoro having to interfere. Ysidro Matamoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Helica in the 93rd minute. Rios Malta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
