Changainima FC's Fernando Rancaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiriboga Santaren in the 3rd minute of play. Emilio Gandulla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fernando Rancaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Rancaño acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wellington Cidiel. 15 minutes into the game, Xzaver Orta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. De-Jesús Castilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Leandro Huertas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xzaver Orta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but De-Jesús Castilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When Ricardo Placiencia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Changainima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Placiencia couldn't finish the play. Leandro Huertas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fernando Rancaño made a huge save. Fernando Rancaño made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Leandro Huertas sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiriboga Santaren made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Placiencia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but De-Jesús Castilla was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Changainima FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chiriboga Santaren came free, but Fernando Rancaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Huertas ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Xzaver Orta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Changainima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xzaver Orta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Xzaver Orta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Changainima FC's Ricardo Placiencia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of De-Jesús Castilla. That made the score 0-3 after 95 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Changainima FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
