Ubendu Pidrola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Sainz in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Calle Sainz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Zeledon Cortinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Ricardo Ferreros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match, Zeledon Cortinas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xerardo Elejalde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ubendu Pidrola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Sainz in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Carmona in the 20th minute of play forced UD Ganalcay's goalkeeper Ubendu Pidrola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ricardo Ferreros fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Bajo's protests and gave Ricardo Ferreros a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CD Bajo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ricardo Ferreros hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Zeledon Cortinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Cortinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Cortinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Xerardo Elejalde made a huge save. Jesus Jugo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xerardo Elejalde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Calle Sainz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of UD Ganalcay's Ubendu Pidrola. Ubendu Pidrola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CD Bajo's Xerardo Elejalde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save CD Bajo from getting a goal against them. When Edwin Viciola fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Bajo's protests and gave Edwin Viciola a yellow card for diving instead. Edwin Viciola hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Calle Sainz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to UD Ganalcay getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Xaver Arceo hit a great ball. Zeledon Cortinas struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Xerardo Elejalde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Ganalcay. The supporters of CD Bajo booed when UD Ganalcay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Risel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Calle Sainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Bajo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, CD Bajo's Calle Sainz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubendu Pidrola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, UD Ganalcay's goalkeeper Ubendu Pidrola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uzuri Iturbide. After a defensive mix-up in CD Bajo's zone, Zeledon Cortinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xerardo Elejalde came out of the goal and Zeledon Cortinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xerardo Elejalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Jugo in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to UD Ganalcay getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zeledon Cortinas hit a great ball. If Uzuri Iturbide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Jugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, CD Bajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoel Esparza to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes UD Ganalcay got a freekick which was hit by Xaver Arceo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Bajo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
