After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bohórquez Azpeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelincay SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bohórquez Azpeitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vermudo Divaichin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vermudo Divaichin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from González Rego in the 12th minute of the match. Garcés Llain struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Carabalí Tobia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadillo. Carabalí Tobia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garcés Llain went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bohórquez Azpeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Divaichin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Ahumada in the 27th minute of play forced Pelincay SC's goalkeeper Carabalí Tobia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Ahumada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Granadillo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Santos Aneutes hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Pelincay SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Vazquez to maneuver through the defense. Vermudo Divaichin made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Bohórquez Azpeitia sent off a good shot on target. Zoil Antoñana charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoil Antoñana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Granadillo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zoil Antoñana hit a great ball. 49 minutes into the game, Zoil Antoñana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Carabalí Tobia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Ahumada made a kick off. If Angel Ahumada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelincay SC's goalkeeper Carabalí Tobia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Pelincay SC's goalkeeper Carabalí Tobia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garcés Llain. After some careless play in the Granadillo defense, Bohórquez Azpeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vermudo Divaichin. The Granadillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vermudo Divaichin should have stopped the shot. Flavio Vazquez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. González Rego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vermudo Divaichin having to interfere. In the 88th minute, González Rego made a precise shot to the right of Vermudo Divaichin. Granadillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by González Rego in the 94th minute of play forced Granadillo's goalkeeper Vermudo Divaichin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vermudo Divaichin came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelincay SC's González Rego. But to his dismay, González Rego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Granadillo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pelincay SC.
